The WACO track teams traveled north to Lisbon on Tuesday for their second meet of the week. The Warriors had run at Monday’s Mike Kautz Invitational at Lone Tree.

The WACO boys finished third in the team race with 83.5 points. Lisbon won their meet with 194 points. The Warrior boys scored an event championship when the shuttle hurdle team of Isaac Oswald, Zach Schmitz, Mason Miller and Simeon Reichenbach beat the field with their time of 1:03.96. Other top finishes for the Warrior boys included Reichenbach runner-up in the 100 hurdles and long jump and Jonah Clark second in the shot put. Miller was third in the high jump and Oswald was third in the long jump.

The Warrior girls were sixth with 64 points. Mount Vernon won the meet with 209 points. Ellah Kissell had the top finish, going runner-up in the high jump. Zoey Dennler was third in the 100 and 400m hurdles and the shuttle hurdle team of Dennler, Maggie and Ally Rinner and Katie Leichty was also third.

The Warrior boys and girls travel to Winfield-Mt. Union for a meet tonight.
