In court documents issued last week, a Rubio man was sentenced on Washington County drug offenses. Sixty-year-old Paul Eugene Perrin of Rubio, was given a five-year suspended prison sentence for possession of controlled substance methamphetamine, third or subsequent offense, a Class D Felony, stemming from a March 2021 traffic stop. Perrin entered a guilty plea to the charge February 18th of this year. He will serve five years on probation under the supervision of the Eighth Judicial District Department of Corrections, ordered to pay a $1,025 fine, obtain a substance abuse evaluation and complete any recommended substance abuse treatment program.
