With summer on its way as well as Mother’s and Father’s days, Main Street Washington is offering the chance to make that special someone or grill master in your life that much happier.

Main Street Washington Executive Director Sarah Grunewaldt shares the special raffle the board of directors is hosting, “We’re just looking for a way to raise a little bit of extra money. As we are a nonprofit we work really hard at that. And they approached Ace Hardware and Ace is donating a Blackstone Grill, it’s a $500 value and then our second prize is a meat bundle from Hy-Vee so thanks to both those businesses.”

Raffle tickets are $20 each and can be purchased at Ace-N-More or from Tim Elliott at Elliott Realty Group. The winners will be drawn on Mother’s Day weekend. Proceeds go toward the main street organization which covers the seven by six block section of downtown Washington, focusing on its economic health and wellbeing.
