A Washington business celebrated its new and expanded location with the Washington Chamber of Commerce Ambassadors Friday afternoon.

A ribbon cutting ceremony and open house was held for Blissed Out Wellness’ new home located on the second floor of the Greiner Buildings offices on East Main Street. Blissed Out Movement was the business’ first iteration which started at Halcyon House in 2016, and then evolved into their first brick and mortar location in the Stone Mill Building. Co-owner Melissa Turner says she always wanted to expand, “It’s been a long-time dream to have all the things I do, yoga, massage, in one space and it just hasn’t worked out. And with COVID a lot of things kind of backpedaled and then we were looking for a space, it was time, things were growing and the space I was in I had massage and yoga and I had to change all the time and move my table. So we needed a space.”

Turner and co-owner Tammy Howard worked with Greiner Buildings to design their studio and retail space in the former library, and construction began in December with them moving in this April. Blissed Out Wellness offers yoga, massage, Reiki, and cupping with group sound bath meditations to come.
