The Winfield-Mt. Union boys golf team welcomes the Hillcrest Academy Ravens to Twin Lakes Golf Course Monday for a Southeast Iowa Superconference duel. The Wolves are coming off of a fifth place finish at last week’s West Liberty Invitational where they shot 378 as a team, across 18 holes, led by Andrew Brown’s 87. On the year, the Wolves have a team average of 202 per nine holes, led by Carter Loyd at 48. Hillcrest Academy comes into the day after beating Columbus on the road 190-236 on Thursday with Jace Rempel’s card of 45 leading the way. On the year the Ravens have a 201 average per nine holes led individually by Rempel’s 49. These two teams met a year ago with the Wolves taking the 187-202 duel victory. Action starts tonight at 4p.m. at Twin Lakes Golf and Country Club in Winfield.
