An Iowa City man was arrested on local warrants early Tuesday morning.

The Washington County Communications Center states 41-year-old Marcus Deonte Garvin was located at 4:26 a.m. in Iowa City and was arrested for third-degree burglary, a class D felony, third-degree theft, an aggravated misdemeanor, fourth-degree criminal mischief, a serious misdemeanor, and violation of a no contact order. The charges stem from an alleged burglary that occurred on April 15th at 40 East Greene Street in Riverside. Total bond was set at $8,300 cash only, and Garvin was picked up at the county line and transported to the Washington County Jail. KCII will bring you more information as it becomes official.
