It’s the final day of the Iowa High School State Track and Field Championships, with teams from the KCII-listening area already boasting state champions.

Washington’s Elijah Morris was named state champion in the Class 3A 400m final, and in Class 2A Mid-Prairie’s Danielle Hostetler and Mitzi Evans won state titles in the 3000m final and 400m final, respectively. Washington’s Brayden Hartman was state runner-up in discus, and Highland’s Sarah Burton was third in long jump. Listen to KCII for hourly updates and find full results of our area teams here.
