A lot of softball greeted Columbus Community in their first week of the season and the Wildcats finished the busy start 2-3. 

After defeating Hillcrest Academy 9-3 and Lone Tree 14-4, the Wildcats fell to Southeast Iowa Super Conference perennial power Louisa-Muscatine by a 10-0 count on Thursday. They turned around to play in a weekend Letts tournament and dropped a pair of heartbreakers with a 1-0 defeat to Lisbon and an 8-7 loss to Mount Pleasant. 

The blue and white have a SEISC cross over game tomorrow against New London (0-3).
