A record breaking season on the pitch for the Washington boys’ soccer team translated to six players receiving postseason recognition from the Southeast Conference. 

Four players were named first team all conference including Fredy Aguilar, Randy Huertero, Manny Raymundo, and Brayan Arreola. Aguilar was a forward for the Demons and found the back of the net 12 times that ranked fifth in the league and the junior also assisted on three goals. Raymundo was a key distributor with a team best 12 assists from his outside midfield spot and he connected on six goals including the final PK to down Mediapolis. Arreola put 33 shots on goal as the center midfielder while scoring seven times and recording seven assists. Huertero was the anchor of a defense that finished with eight shutouts and the captain managed one goal at the other end. 

A pair of players were named honorable mention in Emre Akgul and Will Gilchrist-Brock. Akgul started every game, collected nine goals, and assisted on five scores. The senior was also named academic all-conference by the league. The goalie Gilchrist-Brock was fifth in the league in saves with 55 and the sophomore had a 78.6% save percentage. 

The Demons finished the spring 12-6, their most wins in the varsity bound era (since 2011).
