It was a strong showing for the Columbus Community softball team on Tuesday against No. 8 Louisa Muscatine, but the Falcons prevailed in the end by a 6-3 final score. 

The Wildcats produced six hits offensively with Sera Vela going 2-for-4 while Victoria Howell and Libby White each brought in a run. Lily Coil tossed the first three innings surrendering three earned runs on five hits and Bailey Rice recorded the final 12 outs without giving up a run on two knocks. 

The Wildcats are now 7-9 overall, 5-6 in the Southeast Iowa Super Conference, and travel to Mediapolis (4-10) tonight.
