Senator Chuck Grassley when asked about the newest wave of proposed gun legislation he remained neutral about casting his support for the new legislation.
“It’s difficult for me to give an informative answer at this point, I’m going to wait until I have statutory language before I make a final decision about voting for or against it.”
Grassley acknowledges that the people that have proposed this new legislation have “worked hard” and have put together something that is “possible to support” and that there are “many different approaches”.
Grassley will be running against Democratic Nominee and retired United States Navy vice admiral Michael Franken in the upcoming November 8th elections. Grassley, when he spoke to KCII called Franken the most “radical candidate” of the three Democratic candidates citing his record for praising Joe Biden.
