Senator Chuck Grassley, when he spoke with KCII noted that he doesn’t anticipate any type of slowdown in government spending. To address the current inflation issues that are affecting Iowa residents Grassley is calling upon the Federal Reserve to get a start on a plan to handle inflation.

“The Federal Reserve right now is at least six months behind on getting a start on handling inflation. I am working on a bill that will encourage Americans to save more and weather financial storms in the future. It’s not going to be something that’s going to help if we have a recession this year or early next year, but it will help families prepare for future recessions.”
