The third annual Giving Day fundraiser is in the books for Hillcrest Academy with the monetary goal surpassed. In the 2022 edition of the philanthropic tradition Wednesday, June 22nd, 139 separate donors contributed a total of $120,190, smashing the annual $100,000 goal. That works out to an average contribution of $865 each. Along with the contribution goals, several matches are also built into the campaign including an incentive this year for young alumni, those who have graduated in 2012 or later.

Beginning in 2020, Giving Day is an annual, one day fundraiser, for the school’s operating fund. The 2021 edition saw 222 donors contribute a record $171,855 and the first edition of the program in 2020 featured 115 donors and a total of $126,000 pledged.
