For those looking to stay up to date on their COVID-19 shots, Washington County Public Health will provide a free vaccination clinic on July 21st at the Public Health Office on the third floor of Federation Bank. If you previously received a COVID vaccination, they recommend bringing your vaccination card to the clinic.
This clinic will also be covering children ages five and up as well. Washington County Public Health Administrator Emily Tokheim says parents looking to get their child vaccinated may have more than one opportunity to do so. “We are in conversation about scheduling another COVID clinic for that younger age group seeing as they require more attention because kiddos usually don’t like getting poked in the arm. We are trying to finalize those details so that we can have it sometime in July.”
If you want more information about the upcoming vaccination clinic schedule, you can call the Washington County Public Health Office or visit their website.
