The Wellman Community Club is ready to celebrate the USA’s birthday on July 4.

The activities kick off Monday morning in Downtown Wellman at 9:30 with the Kiddie Parade followed by the Main Parade at 10.

Immediately following the Main Parade activities will begin at North park. Bingo, inflatables, sprinklers and games, barrel rides, pony rides, face painting and food vendors are all part of the planned fun.

Wellman Community Club ‘s Heather Trimpe shares the evening headline event, “At six o’clock we’ll have entertainment at the bandshell. That’s all done by the TeBockhorst family, Mike TeBockhorst and his kiddos are going to do the music for us.”

Fireworks are scheduled at dusk. Attendees are reminded that due to safety concerns there will be no parking along 1st Avenue, Ginkgo or Highway 22.
