The Washington County Board of Supervisors met in regular session on Tuesday.

They approved the establishment of a bid letting date for the repairs to the bridge on Dogwood Ave, over Smith Creek. The date for the bid letting has been set for August 9th. Seven of the eight Disabled Veteran Homestead Tax Credit applications were approved. This program eliminates property taxes for those approved by the start of 2023. The board also acknowledged the beginning of the drone program by the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and Emergency Management.

The next meeting will be on June 12th at 9 am in the basement of the Washington Courthouse.
