Another free COVID clinic has been added to the Washington County public health schedule, which is set for July 12th from 3-6 pm at the Washington Public Health Office on the Third Floor of Federation Bank in Washington. This will be a clinic that will focus on vaccinating children six months and older. Both walk-ins and scheduled appointments will be accepted.

While this clinic was not initially on the schedule, this clinic for younger children has been in the works since the June 23rd Board of Health meeting ended. Washington County Public Health Administrator Emily Tokheim talks about the need for a specific clinic to help vaccinate younger kids. “The younger age group generally requires more attention because kiddos usually don’t like getting poked in the arm.”

For older individuals who are looking to stay up to date on their COVID-19 shots, Washington County Public Health will provide a free vaccination clinic on July 21st at the Public Health Office on the third floor of Federation Bank. If you previously received a COVID vaccination, they recommend bringing your vaccination card to the clinic.
