The Iowa Women’s Foundation has released its yearly Ovation: A Tribute to Iowa Women and Girls for the past eight years. The book highlights Iowa women who have impacted their families, friends, colleagues, and communities.

Included in this year’s ovation is Washington’s Natasha Wilson, a former human rights attorney who graduated from the University of Iowa and spent several years doing human rights work in Africa. She now provides food to those in need and is building a network of women farmers in Iowa.

Wilson joins 88-other Iowa women in the 9th edition of Ovation: A Tribute to Iowa Women and Girls and the more than 700 women and girls across the state who have been honored with a tribute since the book’s inception in 2014. The book can be viewed online at the Iowa Women’s Foundation Website.
