The Iowa State University Zoo will bring over 100 species of bugs into the Washington Public Library on Tuesday, July 12th, from 4-5 pm. All the bugs will be safely displayed, contained, and presented by experts from the Iowa State University Zoo.

Library Director Cary Ann Siegfried says this is an excellent opportunity for kids to get close to some unique creatures. “As we all know, kids of all ages like bugs. They’ll be able to get an up-close and personal look at over 100 species of our multi-legged friends, so that should be a lot of fun.”

The event will be on the library’s second floor, with the displays set up in the meeting rooms. This event is part of the July schedule of events for the Washington Public Library. Complete event schedules are available inside the Washington Public Library.
