The Washington County Sheriff’s Office arrested forty-year-old Matthew Meisheid of Kalona yesterday, who was wanted out of Washington County for two counts of assault on persons of a certain occupation with the use/display of a weapon. Both of these charges are Class D felonies and carry a possible five-year prison sentence and approximately $10,000 in fines.

Meisheid was transported to the  Washington County Jail and given a $10,000 cash-only bond. KCII will bring you more information as it becomes official.
