The Washington County Board of Supervisors met in regular session on Tuesday. The board heard a pair of quarterly reports from the County Recorder and Auditor Offices and approved the fireworks permit for Camp Reece at Lake Darling. The board also approved an increase of $1,000 to expand the scope of work being performed in the relocation of the county engineer’s office. The extra money will go towards creating a schematic floor plan for the new office.

The next Board of Supervisors Meeting will be at 9 am, Tuesday, July 26th, in the Board of Supervisors Chambers in the basement of the Washington Courthouse.
