The Hillcrest Academy volleyball program is already thinking about fall. They kick off the month of August with their annual camp. This camp is open to those entering fourth through 12th grades and will meet August 1st through the 4th at Hillcrest Union. Those in seventh through 12th grades have a morning session from 9a.m. To noon and those in fourth through sixth grades will meet from 1-3:30 each afternoon. This four day camp will focus on the fundamentals of volleyball including group drills, station work and games. The goal is to have each player develop individual skills, ability to work together on a team, and have an enjoyable experience while gaining a greater understanding of the game. The camp is led by Hillcrest Academy head volleyball coach Brandon Statler who is entering his second year with the program.
