Iowa State University Extension and Outreach Washington County has scheduled a Women in Agriculture Farm Crawl for August 27. 

This is a bus tour that will feature four different areas in Washington County and northern Henry County. The goal of the event is to showcase different aspects of agriculture as well as give local women a chance to network.

Field Agronomist for Iowa State University Extension and Outreach Washington County Rebecca Vittetoe shares who this event is tailored to, “It is open for anyone. Whether they are involved in agriculture or maybe they want to learn a little bit more and feel like this is a great opportunity to learn a little bit more, it is open to anybody.”

 Stops on the Farm Crawl include; Hilltop Dairy, Geode Forestry, ISU Southeast Research Farm where lunch will be served, and Revasser Winery where an optional wine tasting will be available for $10. Cost for the event is $30. To pre-register click here.
