The 3rd Annual Bike Around the Fairfield Loop Trail Annual Fun Ride is scheduled for this Saturday, August 13th. Like the concept of a walking tour, the Fairfield Area Chamber of Commerce will take you on a biking adventure on the trails with short informational stops along the 15.9-mile Loop Trail.

Executive Director of Fairfield Area Chamber of Commerce Mendy McAdams shares some of the fun scheduled during the ride, “We’ll have five stops along the trail where folks will tell you about the different micro environments. The trail system has a lot of different environments that you get to go through from forest and wetlands, cornfields, creeks, lakes, and deciduous forests.”         

Registration is from 7-10 a.m. at Chautauqua Park in Fairfield. Children twelve years and under ride for free but must be accompanied by an adult. $20 per rider for 13 years or older, 20% discount for groups of three or more paid riders. Family registration is $30.
