The 2022-23 academic year is officially upon us and KCII is ready for a fall full of sports coverage highlighting high school football, volleyball, and cross country in Southeast Iowa.

Tune into the Sports Page during every morning magazine (7 a.m.), mid-day magazine (noon), and evening magazine (5 p.m.) throughout the season to hear preview and recap stories of competitions and feature stories with area squads. You can hear from area volleyball and cross country coaches during every PM Sports Page throughout the fall with the Wednesday show at 6 p.m. having an emphasis on volleyball and the 10 p.m. show on cross country. The third show at 1 p.m. on Thursdays will be a mixture of the two and during every episode hear from our JET Physical Therapy Athlete of the Week. Our football coverage every Friday night will begin at 6 p.m. with the KCII Football Friday Preview Show to analyze and predict all of the area games. KCII will broadcast every Washington Demon football game on FM 106.1, kciiradio.com, and the free KCII Mobile App. Mid-Prairie Golden Hawk football can be heard on AM 1380 FM 102.5, kciiradio.com, and the KCII2 Mobile App. On Saturday mornings at 9 a.m. wake up to hear from all of our area coaches to breakdown last night’s game.

KCII will cover 10 schools in the area including Washington, Mid-Prairie, Hillcrest Academy, Highland, Lone Tree, Sigourney, Keota, WACO, Winfield-Mt. Union, and Columbus Community.
