Highway 1 Discount is hosting a pancake and sausage breakfast  Saturday, September 10th, from 6-11 a.m. Menu includes; pancakes and sausage, eggs, hash browns, homemade cinnamon rolls, coffee and beverages.
Proceeds from the event will  benefit prison ministries through the Christmas Behind Bars Outreach Ministries.
The Mission of the ministry is to reach the souls of the incarcerated for Christ. They want to show them that lasting positive changes are not only available but certainly attainable.
Highway 1 Discount is located at 5308 Highway 1 Southwest, just north of Kalona. Cost for the breakfast is a free-will donation.
