The Washington Sheriff’s Department received a call from Keokuk County that they had located a man wanted in Washington County on a Department of Criminal Investigation (DCI) warrant. Fifty-eight-year-old Terry Ray Hol of Sigourney was arrested for gambling-false claims of winnings.

According to Iowa Law, anyone who claims, or attempts to claim, collect, or take, an amount of money or thing of value of greater value than the amount won has committed a Class D Felony. If convicted, Hol will also be barred for life from excursion gambling boats and gambling structures under the jurisdiction of the Iowa Racing and Gaming Commission.

Hol was transported to the Washington County Jail following his arrest in Keokuk County and has been issued a $5,000 cash-only bond. KCII will bring you more information as it becomes official.
