hocus-pocus

The Washington Chamber of Commerce will host its annual Hocus Pocus in the Park event on October 8th at Central Park. Several crowd favorite activities like the Pumpkin Polaroid Booth and the costume contest will return. There will also be plenty of candy being handed out for children of all ages with a special Movies on Main Street showing of Hotel Transylvania capping of the night.

Alisha Davis, the Event Coordinator for the Chamber of Commerce, spoke with KCII about some additional support they are getting for this year’s event. “We are planning on doing everything from last year, but this year we have partnered with Relay for Life, and they’ll be doing a bags tournament. We also have food trucks coming in for the first time, and we plan on having more businesses coming in to set up more games for kids and families.”

All these events will be at Washington’s Central Park, with everything set to begin at 5:00 pm, with the movie set to start around 7:30 pm. People that plan on attending are encouraged to bring a jacket in the event of cold weather.
