It’s homecoming week at the Lone Tree Community School District.

The week began on Monday, September 12th, with a Country Club vs. Country dress-up day. An activity of decorating the halls and windows accompanied the dress up day. On Tuesday, students and staff dressed up as their favorite character from any genre for character day. There was also an escape room and a minute to win it game. On Wednesday, they will have a decade day in which they will dress up in their best 1960s-1990s attire and participate in float decorating.  Thursday, everyone will dress in clothing that begins with the first letter of their name, and there will be an Ironman and staff volleyball game. Finally, on Friday, it will be Game Day/Spirit Wear, where students and faculty will dress in their best black and gold lion apparel.

On Friday, two members of the homecoming court will be crowned as King and Queen during a school assembly. Tyce Alt, Joe Boxwell, Drew Gauley, Ella Buser, Madeline Kleckner, and Riley Krueger makeup the homecoming court. In addition, prior to the game on Friday, there will be a parade in which the floats will be displayed.

The homecoming game is against the Tri-County Trojans, and is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. on Friday, September 16th at Lone Tree High School.
