The Washington County Board of Supervisors met in regular session this week. The board approved the proposed changes to the government employee health insurance benefit package. The board approved the appointment of a new Veteran Affairs Commissioner, Seventy-Six Township Clerk, and a new designee from Washington County for the Heritage Area Agency on Aging Board of Directors. Possible action on the secondary roads assessment for 135th Street west of Highway 218 and 140th Street east of Vine Avenue has been moved to next week.

The next Board of Supervisors meeting will be Tuesday, September 20th at 9:00 am in the Supervisors Chambers in the basement of the Washington County Courthouse.
