Iowa native Ellie Brooks has written a book about a young lady’s search for her birth twin. “Amanda’s Journey A DNA Adventure” is a fictional story that incorporates “real life” techniques involved in genealogy searches.
Brooks borrowed from her years of experience as a volunteer with the organization “Search Angels” to weave real life methods into her fictional story. She shares what “Search Angels” can do for people seeking more information about their biological roots, “We can build a tree for them that says, here’s your mother, here’s your biological father and here are their grandparents and so then you can make choices of what you choose to do.”
