The After School STEM Club is now taking registrations for the November session titled A Long Way Down: Designing Parachutes.  This science club is open to all Keota students in 4th-6th grade.

Washington County Extension & 4-H is partnering with Keota Elementary with support from Keota Elementary Boosters to offer additional and fun ways for Keota youth to interact with science in a hands-on setting while making new friends and connections in the community. This club is open to students who want to experiment more with science, technology, engineering, and math.

During the November session, students will build and design several styles of parachutes, working to learn, challenge, and build more. Registrations are accepted on a first-come, first-serve basis until sessions are full. There is a $10 fee made to Keota Elementary Boosters. Contact Amy Green at the Washington County Extension Office for questions about this STEM Club or how to get involved with other youth activities in Washington County.
