Washington Police Chief Jim Lester talked with KCII Radio about some safety tips everyone can follow during Halloween. “We encourage parents to talk to their kids about crossing the street at intersections and not going between parked cars. For those that’ll be driving around, we advise them to always be alert for the extra kids crossing the street. Always give yourself some extra time to get where you’re going and always remain alert of your surroundings.”
