On Sunday, October 30 from 4-6 p.m. the Louisa County Sheriff’s Office and Emergency Services are hosting a Trunk or Treat event. The event will be held at the Louisa County Courthouse in Wapello, with parking available in the high school lot at 501 Buchanan Street.

The Trunk or Treat will feature candy, popcorn, toys, live music and more. Halloween photos will be taken by Dazy Dream Photography.

Prior to the Trunk or Treat, Wapello’s Shelley Day will take place on 2nd Street downtown from noon to 3 p.m. Activities include a vendor show from 12-4 p.m. pumpkin painting, hayrack rides, a bags tournament, bounce house, and more. Roads will be closed around the events to ensure safety for all participants.
