The Washington County Sheriff’s Office responded to a call about a single-vehicle accident at 250th St in Washington. A Keota man was driving a truck eastbound on 250th St. when he lost control of his vehicle and entered the north side ditch. The truck proceeded to hit a driveway culvert and a large landscaping rock before finally coming to a rest.

The driver was transported to the University of Iowa Hospital by Ambulance Services to be treated for his injuries. Assisting the Washington County Sheriff’s Office on the scene was the Washington Fire Department, Washington County Rescue, West Chester QRS, Washington QRS, Washington Ambulance, and George Moore Towing.
