The Washington County Board of Supervisors will meet in regular session this week. The meeting will start with a closed session after the public comment period to discuss strategy with counsel in matters that are presently in litigation or where litigation is imminent where its disclosure would be likely to prejudice or disadvantage the position of the governmental body in that litigation.
Possible action may be taken on that matter after the closed session ends. The board will hold a discussion regarding a possible ordinance about the assessment of wind energy conversion property. The board will also consider a proposal from Iowa Negotiating and Consulting Services to provide services related to Human Resources.
The meeting will take place on Tuesday, November 1st, at 9:00 am in the Supervisors Chambers in the basement of the Washington County Courthouse.
