Fresh off their best season in nearly two decades the Mid-Prairie volleyball team was recognized this week by the River Valley Conference. Four Golden Hawks earned positions on this year’s All-Conference teams.
Senior Landry Pacha was a first team All-RVC selection. Pacha led the team with 47 aces, second most in the River Valley and a 94.2% efficiency rate from the service line. She compiled a team best 264 kills, fourth most in the league with a 10th in the RVC .249% kill efficiency rate. Her 407 assists were best on the team and seventh in the conference. She finished with 254 digs and 28 blocks, both 10th in the conference.
Sophomore Dakota Mitchell was a first team All-River Valley pick. Mitchell, who hit the 1,000 career dig milestone this season, led the team and was second in class 3A with 630. She also finished with 73 assists, 22 aces and a 91.6% serve efficiency mark.
Freshman Jovi Evans was a first team All-River Valley Conference selection. Evans finished fifth in the RVC with 43 aces and had a 92.8% efficiency rate from the service line. Her 346 digs were sixth in the conference, her 370 assists were eighth most and her 202 kills were ninth most in the league with a fourth best .343 kill efficiency rating, to go along with 22 blocks.
Senior Ella Groenewold was an honorable mention RVC pick. She posted a team best 77 blocks, second in the River Valley with 153 kills and a .385 kill efficiency rating, sixth in Class 3A.
The Golden Hawks ended the season in the Class 3A regional finals with a 27-12 overall record.
