The WACO Warriors have advanced to the next round of the 8-man Iowa high school football playoffs, following a dominant performance against Central City. The Warriors defeated the Wildcats 48-12 last Friday for their 11th win, the second-most in school history.

WACO now has their sights on the quarterfinals, where they will host the 10th-ranked Montezuma Braves on Thursday, November 3 at 7 p.m. A victory for the Warriors would keep their perfect record intact and earn them their first trip to the UNI Dome since 2010.

Coverage of the Warriors and Braves will be broadcast on all KCII signals and platforms Thursday night, beginning with the pregame show at 6:30 p.m. and kickoff at 7.
