Thursday, the Henry and Des Moines County Sheriff’s Offices executed a pair of search warrants in relation to 32-year-old Sean Vantiger of Hillsboro. Officers initiated the first warrant during a traffic stop involving Vantiger in the 100 block of South Maple Street in Salem, and the second at a residence in the 100 block of East Commercial Street in Hillsboro. As a result of the findings of officers at both scenes, Vantiger was arrested on nine total charges, six of which are felonies. They include Enticement of a Minor, Lascivious Acts with a Child, Child Endangerment, Possession of Marijuana With Intent to Distribute, Conspiracy to Distribute Marijuana, and Gathering Where Controlled Substances are Unlawfully Used, all Class D Felonies, Dissemination of Obscene Material to Minors and Possession of Methamphetamine both Serious Misdemeanors, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, a Simple Misdemeanor.

Vantiger is currently in custody at the Henry County Jail. The Henry and Des Moines County Sheriff’s Offices were assisted in the apprehension of Vantiger by the Southeast Iowa Narcotics Task Force and Iowa Division of Narcotics Enforcement.
