The Highland School Board held a work session on Monday, November 28th.

During the work session, there was a discussion about the football and weight room programs. Bigger, Faster, Stronger is currently being used by the football team as well as PE students in grades 6-12. The board was informed that the football program is behind on updating safety equipment and will need to purchase new shoulder pads and helmets. It will cost around $15,000.

Christine Yancey, Riverside City Administrator, and members of the Riverside Visioning Committee visited the board to discuss traffic flow around the school and on Schnoebelen Street. With plans to improve the flow or build a street.

Updates to facilities were also discussed.
