The Washington Economic Development Group is beginning its triennial investor pledge that will go from 2023 to 2025. Investors with the organization allow WEDG to continue to focus on housing, child care, workforce development, and supporting existing and new businesses in Washington County. KCII News spoke with Mary Audia, Executive Director of WEDG, to learn more about the Investor Pledge Campaign. “We’re starting our three-year pledge drive. That’s kicking off now, so folks out there in radio land can expect to hear from somebody from WEDG in the next few weeks. We have investor packets that are going to be going out in the mail, so hopefully, people will join us and continue this forward momentum that we have here with WEDG and all our wonderful partners in this community.” The Washington Economic Development Group’s mission is to create and promote an environment for sustained economic development in Washington County.
