Washington County Schools will begin their respective winter breaks this week.

St. James Elementary students and staff begin their vacation first, with a 1:05 early dismissal on Wednesday, December 21. Washington Community Schools will follow at 1:20 p.m. Highland Community School District has an early dismissal as well, with their break beginning at 2:00 on Wednesday.

Mid-Prairie Community School District has a full day of classes on Wednesday, kicking off their winter break on Thursday, December 22. Keota Community Schools will be the last to start their break, with a 1 p.m. dismissal on Thursday.

Following the holidays, Keota Community Schools will have a teacher work day on Monday, January 2, and all Washington County Schools resume classes on Tuesday, January 3.
