The Mid-Prairie wrestling teams have their final tournament action before the holiday break today. The boys travel to DeWitt for the Saber Invitational. At their home Colton Allen Memorial Invitational last Saturday, Mid-Prairie finished third of five teams with 87 points led by individual championships from Mose Yoder at 120lbs and Quinn Callahan at 220lbs. In dual action Thursday night the Golden Hawks traveled to Mount Pleasant where they dropped a contest to Fort Madison 69-12 and beat the home Panthers 42-28. Joining Mid-Prairie today in DeWitt are Bellevue, Bettendorf, Camanche, Cedar Rapids Jefferson, Clinton, Creston, Davenport Central, Davenport North, Iowa City Liberty, Maquoketa, Midland, Northeast, Williamsburg and the home Sabers. There is a total of 24 ranked wrestlers in the field. Action continues all day today in DeWitt.

The Mid-Prairie girls travel to Wilton for a tournament. The Hawks were at the Vinton-Shellsburg Invitational last Saturday, finishing fourth of 17 schools with 93 points. Gabi Robertson was an individual champion at 100lbs. Mid-Prairie also traveled to Cedar Rapids Prairie for a double dual Thursday, dropping a contest to the home Prairie Hawks 51-15 and beating Iowa City Liberty 39-24. Joining the Golden Hawks today in Wilton are Cascade, Clinton, Davenport, Durant, English Valleys, Fairfield, Louisa-Muscatine, Mount Vernon, Mount Pleasant, Muscatine, Solon, Tipton, Wapello, West Branch and the home Beavers. Action continues all day Saturday at Wilton High School.
