The Paws and More Animal Shelter in Washington held a No Fee Cat and Kitten Adoption weekend on Saturday and Sunday. KCII News was able to speak with Amber Talbot, Paws and More Executive Director, about how the event went. She states, “We just appreciate knowing how loved and cared for they are going to be and that that initial investment, you know, wasn’t a barrier for anybody.” On Saturday, there were twenty-four adoptions, and on Sunday, there were seven on Sunday. If you missed your opportunity this weekend but are still interested in adopting a cat or kitten from Paws and More Animal Shelter, there are still 45 to 50 cats that are in the care of the shelter.
