The Washington Public Library is holding its next Washington Writers Workshop on Saturday. This workshop will feature a presentation by poet Amiya Moretta. Moretta is a poet and multimedia artist. She is a Fulbright Scholar and MFA candidate at the Iowa Writers’ Workshop. Moretta will give a presentation the first hour of the workshop, and then submissions of all genres will be workshopped the second hour. This workshop is from 10 AM to 12 PM and is open to adults and teens interested in developing their writing skills. The slogan for these workshops is building a community of writers.
