All that glittered was gold Saturday for the Washington archery teams at the Chuck Hallier Memorial Tournament in Mount Vernon.

The Washington High School shooters were team champions in the bullseye contest with a 3331 score, topping Solon’s 3311. The Demon’s Hayden Janecek was the indidivual girls champion with a 290 that included 22 tens. Other Demon girl top tens included Madison Conway third. Boys leader was Jonathan Moore runner-up with a 291 and 24 tens. Other boys top tens included Curtis Stender third. The High Schoolers completed their sweep of team gold, winning the 3D championship with a score of 1641, besting Solon’s 1631. Moore was the individual boys champion at the event with a 283 and 16 tens. Other Washington boys top tens included Brian Fritz third, Tyler Alderton seventh, Riley Kasper ninth and Levi Applegate 10th. For the Demon girls, Allison Rees was runner-up with a 283 that included 21 tens.

For the Washington Middle School teams it was more gold as they won the bullseye contest with a 3246 score, beating Solon’s 3180. Top Demon boys score was Ethan Hotchkiss as runner-up with a 281 that included 16 tens. Other boys top tens included Mark Chenoweth fourth, Teage Pepper sixth, and Mason Pierce ninth. The Demon girls had Gabrielle Andrew as runner-up with a 279 and 16 tens. Other Washington girls top tens included Charlee Read third, Cecelia Mitchell fourth, and Hannah Lipski ninth. The Middle School 3D team title also belonged to Washington with their 1598 score, topping Mount Vernon’s 1573. Gabrielle Andrew won the girls individual championshp with a 279 that included 14 tens. Other top tens for the Washington girls included Charlee Read fourth, Cecelia Mitchell fifth, Emma Helfrich eighth and Nora Stoutner 10th. Top boys score was Ethan Hotchkiss with a 271 with 11 tens to place third. Other Washington boys in the top ten were Teage Pepper sixth, Nathan Schrock ninth and Mark Chenoweth 10th.

The Lincoln Demons were third in the team bullseye contest with a 2763. Bellevue won with a 2820. Liliana Hernandez was girls runner-up with a 235 and four tens. Other Washington girls top tens included Aryana Jones fifth, Madalyn Roundy sixth, Natalie Ford seventh, Miriam Pierce eighth, Kirya Coates ninth and Addyson Neer 10th. For the boys, Jordan Thorius had the top day, placing fourth with a 262 and eight tens. He was joined in the top ten by Finn Plattner sixth, and Mason Schneider 10th. In 3D the Lincoln Demons were champions with a 1429, beating Mt. Vernon’s 1094. Aryana Jones won the girls individual title with a 243 that included four tens. She was joined in the top ten by teamates Addyson Neer in fourth, Liliana Hernandez fifth, Miriam Pierce sixth, Madalyn Roundy seventh, and Aaliyah Palacios 10th. For the boys, Jordan Thorius was third with a 262 and 12 tens. Other top ten Demons included Jace Helfrich fourth, and Mason Schneider sixth.
