The Washington Public Library’s Fiber Arts February event, The Collective Mending Sessions with Catherine Reinhart, is this Friday, from 6 to 9 PM, and Saturday. from 10 AM to 1 PM. The Collective Mending Sessions resemble a quilting bee, where a group gathers to create or work on one quilt. Washington Public Library Assistant Director LeAnn Kunz the experience she hopes participants have, “Actually gathering people around the table, and mending a quilt together artistically is just going to be such a fantastic community building opportunity for lots of people, all ages.” You can join for one or both sessions. There is no registration required for this free event.
