Two members of the Sigourney-Keota bowling team are in action at the Iowa High School Athletic Association and Iowa Girls High School Athletic Union State Bowling Tournaments Tuesday.
At the Pella Christian qualifier Monday, February 13th, Jayden Montgomery became the first ever girls SK bowler to qualify for state. She rolled a 579 series to finish third. Her best game was her third as she closed with a 216.
Also at the Dutch 200 Bowl and Grill on the 13th, Landyn Greiner earned his bid to state, finishing fourth overall with a 618 series. His third game was also his best, closing with a 214.
Both Montgomery and Greiner will be in action all day today at the individual State Championship meet held at Maple Lanes in Waterloo.
