Iris Bowl in Mount Pleasant hosted the Southeast Conference boys and girls bowling championships earlier this month. The Washington boys finished fifth of five schools with their total of 961. Keokuk won the team title with a 2905. Three Demons scored at the meet, all freshman with Gabriel Castillo at 242 for 25th, Quintyn Garibay 26th at 235 and Cooper Zahs 27th at 211.

The Demons girls were also fifth with their team total of 1020. Keokuk completed their sweep of team gold with 2833. Top Washington performance came from junior Emma Chenowith in 14th with a 280, sophomore Emma Loeffler was 16th with 276 and sophomore Brittany Diveney 25th with 180.
