The Washington speech team competed in the individual district competition February 25th. Nine events received division one ratings and will travel on to the state competition. The students going to state are Quincy Griffis, Keegan Colby, Quintyn Garibay, Molly Klinzman, Rita Du, Maya Bruty, and Luna Morris. The Iowa High School Speech Association’s Individual Events Speech Contest will take place on Saturday, March 11th, at North Scott High School.
